About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Patient Service Specialist to join our Central Medical Records team. In this role, you will support patients, providers, and staff by ensuring accurate medical record processing and providing exceptional service. This is a 40-hour per week position.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Six months of medical office experience required.

Nice To Haves

  • Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting patients, providers, and staff with requests for medical records
  • Managing release of information in compliance with privacy and confidentiality regulations
  • Processing, scanning, and indexing records accurately and efficiently
  • Responding to phone calls and inquiries in a timely, professional manner
  • Supporting department workflow and collaborating with team members
