About The Position

The Patient Service Representative (PSR) is the first point of contact for patients and visitors in the orthopedic department. This role is essential for creating a welcoming environment, coordinating patient appointments, and providing administrative support to providers and staff.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous office experience with medical office experience preferred.

Responsibilities
- Greet patients and visitors in a friendly, professional manner
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments
- Verify patient insurance and collect co-pays or payments as needed
- Maintain accurate patient records and update information in the electronic health record system
- Answer phones, respond to patient inquiries, and assist with patient navigation
- Support clinical staff with administrative tasks to ensure smooth workflow
