The Patient Service Representative will: Greet and assist visitors and patients in a courteous and professional manner. Register patients for medical visits and procedures by collecting personal and insurance information. Verify insurance coverage, collect copays and obtain necessary authorizations. Schedule and manage patient appointments and follow-ups. Manage accurate patient records and update demographic and insurance information. Coordinate communication between patients, providers and medical staff. Ensure patient confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations. Perform clerical tasks in support of the department. Consistently contribute a positive attitude when interacting with patients and other hospital staff, while displaying willingness to learn new skills.
