About The Position

Lumexa Imaging is one of the country's largest providers of outpatient medical imaging, with over 5,000 team members and more than 185 outpatient imaging centers across 13 states. The team conducts more than 4 million outpatient studies annually and is a partner of choice for health systems and radiologists. Touchstone Medical Imaging, part of Lumexa Imaging, is seeking a full-time Patient Service Representative for their medical front office position in Tyler, TX. This role involves assisting patients with check-in, check-out, insurance verification, and appointment scheduling.

Requirements

• 1-4 Years Experience in Medical Office Setting or Hospital is highly preferred
• Experience with Insurance Authorizations and Verification
• Ability to Handle Heavy Patient Volume
• Strong Customer Service, Communication and Computer Skills
• Ability to Multi-Task
• Medical Terminology Knowledge

Nice To Haves

• Medical Assistant Certification is a plus

Responsibilities

• Schedule Patients for Diagnostic Exams and Procedures
• Assist with Authorization and Verifications
• Checking In / Out Patients
• Answering Multiple Phone Lines
• Provide Accurate and Complete Information to Billing Office
• Insurance Verification
• Ensure Accuracy of Patient Data Entered into the System
• Process Requests and Filing of Patient Records
