About The Position

The Patient Service Representative is responsible and accountable for coordinating information and support for the flow of patients within the Swedish Medical Center and Emergency Department environment. This role involves providing front-line customer service, including reception and patient registration. Key duties include interviewing patients and their families to obtain required demographic and financial data, completing consents, escorting or directing patients, and collecting valuables and deposits. Nice To Haves

  • Associate's Degree
  • 2 years of experience in a medical setting with inpatient or outpatient admitting
  • Patient Registration or financial counseling or insurance and medical terminology experience
