Key responsibilities include managing the patient intake and checkout process, which involves registration, scanning and filing medical records, and collecting co-payments, deductibles, and outstanding balances. The representative must meticulously follow all procedures, from identifying correct patient files to verifying insurance information, to ensure smooth coordination between clerical and clinical staff.
