About The Position

The Patient Service Rep manages patient flow for electronic check-in, check-out, and appointment procedures. The job requires exceptional communication and interpersonal skills and efficiency. All activities must be conducted in a confidential, professional, and personable manner. Performs other duties as needed.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Minimum six months required of customer service, general office or Receptionist vocational training, medical field preferred
  • Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
  • Able to use a computer, printer, and software programs necessary to the position (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Operate/troubleshoot basic office equipment required for the position
  • Able to work calmly and respond courteously when under pressure
