Patient Service Rep / Medical Front Desk

Requirements
- 6 months to 1 year of prior medical office experience
- A positive, professional, and patient-focused attitude
- Strong time-management and organizational skills
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Responsibilities
- Greeting patients warmly and checking them in promptly
- Helping patients complete necessary forms for the electronic health record (EHR) and billing
- Updating demographic and insurance information, verifying eligibility, and collecting co-pays
- Ensuring smooth patient flow through efficient front-office processing
- Answering questions related to registration or billing
- Directing medical inquiries to the appropriate clinical staff
- Scheduling patients with the appropriate provider
- Scanning and uploading documents into the EHR
- Performing additional administrative duties as needed
