About The Position

This position is for the Fax Server role in the Scheduling department. The main function is pulling and searching for prescriptions that are faxed over to the TGH Imaging fax server for upcoming scheduled or to be scheduled radiology exams.

Requirements

• High school graduate or GED preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Problem solving techniques and skills.
• Great phone and phone etiquette abilities. Able to communicate clearly to establish cooperative relationships with patients, families, physicians and team members.
• Previous office experience, preferred.
• Knowledge of some medical terminology, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review all incoming faxes that come through the TGH Imaging fax server.
• Categorize each fax by: Patient Name Referring Physician Name Fax Type Once that is complete then assign each one to a mailbox
• Print out all patient and physician emails from the TGH Imaging Website
• All other duties as assigned.
