About The Position

As a Patient Scheduling Coordinator for the Radiology Department at Oneida Health Hospital, you will play a vital role in coordinating and scheduling Radiology and Cardiology procedures. Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and schedule Radiology and Cardiology procedures as designated by physicians, utilizing computerized scheduling systems.
  • Work collaboratively as part of the team within the Radiology Department to ensure smooth operations and patient flow.
  • Recognize and respond appropriately to urgent situations per protocol to ensure patient safety and satisfaction.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, physicians, and management across various medical departments.
  • Document work processes as required to maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with departmental protocols.
  • Ensure efficient telephone and email communication to facilitate scheduling and address inquiries from patients and other stakeholders.
