About The Position

Now Hiring – Patient Scheduling Associate Location: Fort Myers, Florida – On-site (3660 Broadway) Status: Monday – Friday Schedule: 8:30am-5:00pm Radiology Regional is one of the largest physician-driven diagnostic imaging providers, with 13 imaging centers in Southwest Florida. We are seeking a dynamic person with a passion to care for others in the communities we serve. For over 50 years we have earned trust and confidence because of their patient care experience. Job Summary: Responsible for scheduling, canceling, and rescheduling of patient exams for multiple imaging center locations by collecting and processing accurate patient demographics and clinical information in accordance with Radiology Regional protocol pertinent to the requested exam. Responsibilities are performed via phone and computer in a call center setting with a high volume of daily calls and fax requests from patients and/or referring physician offices. Requirements

  • Ability to deliver the highest quality customer service.
  • Must be comfortable in a fast-paced environment with the ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
  • REQUIRED: High School Diploma or GED
  • REQUIRED: Data entry skills, good computer knowledge, and ability to type a minimum of 35 wpm.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for scheduling, canceling, and rescheduling of patient exams for multiple imaging center locations
  • Collecting and processing accurate patient demographics and clinical information in accordance with Radiology Regional protocol pertinent to the requested exam.
  • Responsibilities are performed via phone and computer in a call center setting with a high volume of daily calls and fax requests from patients and/or referring physician offices.
  • Completes outbound calls to schedule patient exams when a RX is received ensuring accuracy in a timely manner.
  • Responds to all calls with courtesy and professionalism.
  • Manage and escalate priority issues, route calls, and questions to appropriate resources.
