About The Position
We're growing again and adding a new position to our Destin office! Are you organized, compassionate, and passionate about making a difference in patients' lives? We’re looking for a Patient Scheduler to be the first point of contact for our patients and ensure seamless appointment coordination within our healthcare facilities. This is going to be primarily a phone based position fielding incoming calls to the practice. We specialize in Infectious Diseases, Podiatry, Rheumatology, Allergy & Immunology and Gastroenterology, with more specialties being added to the growing group. Requirements
- High school diploma
- Excellent speaking voice
- Superb customer service skills
- able to pass a background check
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of switchboards and phone systems would be a plus
Responsibilities
- Answer all incoming calls, provide pertinent information to the caller and transfer the call to the appropriate source
- Relay voicemails and other messages to the proper location within the organization
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments via phone
- Provide exceptional customer service in a fast paced environment
- Route calls the the correct site / department
