Requirements

Ability to multitask and handle a fast-paced work environment
Ability to work independently and remain on task
Ability to communicate effectively, and professionally, verbally and in writing
High school diploma or G.E.D.
Two (2) years working with accounts receivables required, three (3) or more years preferred
Basic knowledge of computer programs and software such as PC, Adobe Acrobat, Office, and Excel
Intermediate customer service skills
Intermediate organizational skills with attention to detail
Basic knowledge of medical/dental ledgers, preferred

Responsibilities

Monitors and works Daily Reports to meet department daily contact and collection goals
Documents all account communications and actions
Calls, texts or emails responsible party on assigned accounts
Follows-up to verify payment was received
Updates ledgers to reflect status adjustment or payment
Supports clinic operations
