About The Position

The Patient Relations Representative coordinate and enhance access to care for UAMS employees ensuring complete confidentiality and work to ensure an optimal level of service at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences Ambulatory Services. Facilitate coordination of appointments and providers ensuring all special needs have been met.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare or related plus three (3) years of experience in patient registration, scheduling, or billing in a healthcare environment OR high school diploma/GED plus seven (7) years of experience in business office administration including three (3) years of experience in patient registration, scheduling, or billing in a healthcare environment.
• Must have computer/basic keyboard skills
• telephone etiquette skills
• general knowledge of office machines including printers and scanners.
• Knowledge in basic medical terminology and registration experience required.
