About The Position

The Patient Registration Representative will serve as the liaison between patients and Good Samaritan University Hospital for their upcoming elective procedures. This role involves answering any questions and concerns patients may have regarding their visit to Good Samaritan Hospital and pre-surgical testing.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Typing skills 40 – 60 wpm
• Alpha Numeric-5000 Keystrokes per hour required

Responsibilities

• Obtaining and verifying demographics and insurance for elective procedures.
• Appointment scheduling of patients in Cadence
• Maintaining endo/colon schedules and creating cases in Optesia
• Maintaining pain management schedules when needed
• Registration of patients for pre-surgical testing.
• Cash posting
• Scanning
