About The Position

Cardiovascular Services of America (CVAUSA) is the largest private and independent cardiology network in the United States. We are looking for candidates who want to use their expertise to improve the care and outcomes of patients requiring remote patient monitoring. We are recruiting candidates that have excellent analytical skills, experience with collecting vital signs and lab values and can provide clear reporting to the cardiology care team. Below are expected responsibilities: Support patients in collecting remote patient data – examples are blood pressure, weight, blood sugar, pulse oximetry Communicating abnormal findings to the cardiology care team. Recording and editing monitor logs Basic monitor troubleshooting with patients – i.e., managing devices and transmitting data. Ability to follow clinical protocols. Orient new staff. Participate in continued team education through shared learnings. Contribute to a high-quality service both to physicians and patients.

Requirements

  • High School diploma
  • Medical Assistant certification
  • EKG technician
  • 1 year experience in a healthcare role or certification in a healthcare role
  • Strong technical and computer skills
  • Licensed Paramedic
  • Degree in exercise physiology or similar
  • Enrolled in college for nursing or healthcare
  • Strong technical and computer skills
  • Great communication and multi-tasking skills
  • Available to work Monday-Friday during traditional business hours

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in collecting vital signs, weights
  • Experience in remote work
  • Experience with cardiology patients
  • Ability to communicate with patients in both English and Spanish
