About The Position

Under moderate supervision, the Patient Liaison Specialist I is responsible for acting as a representative for patients and their families to direct queries and complaints to relevant healthcare professionals. Consult with healthcare providers and evaluate patient progress.

Requirements

Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
Prior experience in healthcare.
Knowledge of medical terminology.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Qualification to perform CPR.

Nice To Haves

A degree in psychology, social work or a related field, preferred.

Responsibilities

Meets with patients to discuss the quality of their care.
Collects information about the patient’s treatment progress.
Communicates patients' questions, concerns, and issues to appropriate staff members.
Explains policies, procedures, rights, and applicable regulations to patients and provides informational resources about available services.
Informs families about patients’ treatment progress.
May participate in discharge processes.
Supports and ensures strictest adherence to best practices, FDA Code of Federal Regulations, ICH (International Conference on Harmonization), GCP (Good Clinical Practices), CenExel standard operating procedures, site working Practices, protocol, and company guidelines and policies.
