Morrison has more than 1,600 registered dietitians and 1,200 executive chefs, and serves more than 600M meals annually.Job Summary We are seeking a Patient Services Manager to lead our Patient Services Team in a 700‑bed Acute Care Kosher facility. This role oversees 140 union employees across Patient Services and Retail operations and manages a $14M annual volume. CBORD proficiency is required, and Dietitian Assistants report directly to this position.

Requirements

  • Associate degree with at least one (1) year of experience in food services or a related field, or a bachelor’s degree in food service technology/management or related discipline
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience in food service management, preferably in an acute care environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, electronic medical records, and diet office systems
  • CBORD experience required

Nice To Haves

  • Certified Dietary Manager, Registered Diet Technician, or Registered Dietitian credentials preferred
  • ServSafe® certification preferred
  • Experience working with unionized teams preferred

Responsibilities

  • Develops goals and oversees the delivery of patient food services based on medical guidance and patient population needs
  • Recruits, leads, trains, coaches, and develops patient services team members
  • Ensures adherence to dietary restrictions and modified diets while meeting patient food preferences within prescribed guidelines
  • Drives patient satisfaction by ensuring staff performance aligns with service expectations
  • Maintains full compliance with all regulatory standards—including federal, state, and accrediting bodies—while upholding HIPAA, patient rights policies, and facility confidentiality
  • Participates in or leads patient satisfaction initiatives, departmental meetings, and facility-wide Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement programs
