Morrison has more than 1,600 registered dietitians and 1,200 executive chefs, and serves more than 600M meals annually.Job Summary We are seeking a Patient Services Manager to lead our Patient Services Team within a 500+ bed acute care facility. This role is part of a 10-person management leadership team overseeing 100+ union employees.

Requirements

  • Associate degree with at least one (1) year of experience in food services or a related field, or a bachelor's degree in food service technology/management or a related discipline
  • Minimum of one (1) year food service management experience, ideally in an acute care setting
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, electronic medical records, and diet office systems

Nice To Haves

  • Certified Dietary Manager, Registered Diet Technician, or Registered Dietitian credentials preferred
  • ServSafe® certification preferred
  • Experience working with unionized teams preferred

Responsibilities

  • Develops goals and oversees the execution of patient food service needs based on medical guidance and patient population requirements
  • Recruits, trains, coaches, and supports the ongoing development of patient services team members
  • Ensures compliance with all dietary restrictions and modified diet orders while meeting patient food preferences within established guidelines
  • Drives patient satisfaction by guiding staff in meeting or exceeding service expectations
  • Adheres to all regulatory standards—including federal, state, and accrediting bodies—while upholding facility confidentiality, HIPAA requirements, and patient rights
  • Participates in and/or leads patient satisfaction initiatives, departmental meetings, and facility-wide Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement programs
  • Provides oversight for Food Safety & Sanitation, Patient Services, Scheduling, Onboarding, Payroll, and Labor Management
