About The Position

Supporting the Associate Director of Admissions in the Patient Financial Advocate Unit Inpatient Auth Unit Scheduling in/out patients for appointments to various clinics Verify and enter patient demographics Verify insurances for Medicare and PPOs including co-pay information, familiar with HMO, IPA, and PPO Reach out and notify payors, obtain authorizations, fax notifications, and support case management team as needed Through training , they will be expected to Utilize their knowledge of ICD-9, CPT Codes and medical terminology as they input medical data into the system. Process pre-registration and cash collections
