About The Position

Ensures that inquiries and requests are addressed in a friendly and responsive manner. Anticipates the needs of patients, guests, and visitors and takes proactive measures to ensure their satisfaction. Demonstrates knowledge of department locations and directs guests using facility maps or other aids to appropriate locations. Responds immediately to guest inquiries. Provides proactively patient and guest comfort and emotional support as needed. Surveys lobby and surrounding area ensuring it is inviting and that visitors are being assisted as they enter. Utilizes service recovery skills as appropriate in problem solving situations. Promptly and courteously answers phones and provides clerical and administrative services as needed. Collaborates with security personnel on a continuous basis to provide a hospitable, welcoming and safe environment. Performs temperature screenings on all individuals entering Capital Health facilities as needed. Presents a professional image at all times. Maintains a moderate noise level. Maintains a neat and orderly front desk for a positive first impression. Adheres to wearing appropriate attire and maintenance.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalency.
  • One year previous experience.
