Patient Experience Internship - Summer 2026
About The Position

As a Patient Experience intern, you will support patient experience initiatives by tracking and analyzing data; conducting observations and audits across inpatient units, the emergency department, and outpatient areas; assisting with training and educational materials; rounding on non‑clinical patient needs; and completing wayfinding assessments with improvement recommendations. This internship provides a meaningful learning experience where you’ll work side‑by‑side with a supportive team member. You’ll take on real project responsibilities and assist with initiatives that help drive the department’s work forward.
Requirements
- Must be currently pursuing and/or enrolled in a college or university at an undergraduate or graduate level.
Responsibilities
- Support colleagues with project tasks and deliverables
- Help with administrative duties, such as scheduling meetings or preparing reports
- Conduct research and analysis on topics relevant to the department
- Contribute to the development and execution of projects
- Prepare and organize data for presentations and reports
- Participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions
- Communicate ongoing progress related to currently assigned tasks and assist with day-to-day operations.
