About The Position

Position Purpose: Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise, ID is hiring a Patient and Equipment Transporter. This position is responsible for the internal transport of patients and the distribution of assignment equipment. Position Highlights and Benefits: This position is a position that does not offer insurance or paid time off benefits. The work schedule is expected to be: Thursday-Saturday 11pm - 7:30am

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support for HealthCare Provider (BLS/HCP) certification required.
• Prior experience in customer service and/or patient care preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Respond to all questions and requests in a timely manner, providing the highest degree of customer service to patients and staff alike.
• Coordinates with team to dispatch transporters appropriately.
• Execute established procedures for decontamination, inspection, delivery of equipment and customer service relations.
• Demonstrate use of transfer techniques and equipment as needed.
