Patient & Equipment Transporter as-needed nights (Boise)
About The Position
Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise, ID is hiring a Patient and Equipment Transporter. This position is responsible for the internal transport of patients and the distribution of assignment equipment. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support for HealthCare Provider (BLS/HCP) certification required.
- Prior experience in customer service and/or patient care preferred but not required.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for the internal transport of patients
- Distribution of assignment equipment
- Respond to all questions and requests in a timely manner
- Provide the highest degree of customer service to patients and staff alike
- Coordinates with team to dispatch transporters appropriately
- Execute established procedures for decontamination, inspection, delivery of equipment and customer service relations
- Demonstrate use of transfer techniques and equipment as needed
