Patient Education Supervisor - JFK ADATC
About The Position
The Julian F. Keith Alcohol and Drug Abuse Treatment Center (JFK ADATC) is seeking a full-time Patient Education Supervisor to lead and oversee the Substance Abuse Education Department. This role is responsible for directing departmental operations, providing both administrative and clinical supervision to staff, and fostering effective interdisciplinary collaboration across the facility. The supervisor will also deliver direct care and educational services to patients, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered treatment. The role will be the direct supervisor for the five-person team of Certified Peer Support Specialists who work as psychoeducational group facilitators.
Requirements
- High school or General Educational Development (GED) diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Credentialed as a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC), or as a Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist - Associate (LCAS-A), or in an equivalent credential from a governing authority recognized by the NC Addictions Specialist Professional Practice Board to practice under the provisions of the North Carolina Substance Abuse Professional Practice Act.
