The Regional Patient Education Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing patient education programs across assigned regions to support high-quality care, patient engagement, and regulatory compliance. This role ensures patient education materials and initiatives are accurate, accessible, consistent, and aligned with organizational goals and standards across multiple locations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; equivalent education and experience considered
  • Minimum of 5+ years of relevant healthcare experience
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, accreditation requirements, and patient education standards
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and project management abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives across regions and collaborate with diverse teams

Responsibilities

  • Develop, manage, and evaluate patient education programs and materials across assigned regions
  • Ensure all patient education content complies with regulatory, accreditation, and organizational standards
  • Partner with regional and site-level clinical leadership and interdisciplinary teams to assess patient education needs
  • Standardize and oversee patient education strategies to improve patient understanding, outcomes, and satisfaction
  • Monitor program effectiveness using data, audits, and feedback; recommend and implement improvements
  • Provide guidance, training, and support to staff related to patient education initiatives and best practices
  • Maintain current, accurate patient education resources, documentation, and tools
  • Serve as a regional subject matter expert for patient education standards and initiatives
  • Support quality improvement efforts related to patient education and engagement
