This Patient Counselor is primarily responsible for educating Opthalmology patients and selling company services. This position will work with the patient from the time the patient enters the center and conduct follow up calls to ensure patients have an amazing experience. Monthly bonus potential based on performance in addition to hourly rate

Requirements

• 2+ years experience in patient counseling and/or sales, preferably in an Opthalmology or surgical practice
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to deliver an exceptional patient experience

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Opthalmology/Optometric testing modalities, preferred

Responsibilities

• Delivers high customer satisfaction (always friendly and helpful).
• Develops a bond with patients ensuring they feel welcomed, understood and appreciated during their visits to NVISION centers.
• Through thorough education, overcomes obstacles to scheduling surgical procedures
• Achieves company set key performance indicators such as average sales price, upgrade and conversion percentage.
• Consistently meet sales quota (incentive compensation plan based on achieving key targets).
• Performs diagnostic tests necessary for LASIK patients.
• Demonstrates positive attitude and a friendly manner; and ability to work with a high degree of professionalism.
• Educates patients on preoperative and post-operative eye drops and medications
• Responds to all calls, emails, and inquiries in a timely manner
