About The Position

The Patient Coordinator at Phillip Parker Pediatric is responsible for delivering an exceptional patient experience both in person and over the phone. This role involves managing patient interactions from scheduling appointments and welcoming them to the office, to collecting payments and maintaining patient records. The coordinator also ensures the waiting area is clean and assists with general office tasks as needed.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of experience in a dental front office setting
  • Customer Service experience
  • Passion for delivering the best experience
  • Ability to collaborate and be team-oriented

Responsibilities

  • Deliver a distinctive patient experience with every patient both in person and over the phone
  • Answer calls, and schedule new and existing patients for dental treatment
  • Welcome patients into the office upon arrival, gathering necessary information such as patient demographics, insurance information, and updated health history
  • Maintain a clean and welcoming patient waiting area
  • Collect patient payments and post them to their patient ledger
  • Update necessary documents into patient chart
  • Outbound calls to patients for confirming upcoming appointments
  • Assisting with laundry
  • Taking out the trash
  • Refilling supplies in restrooms
  • Any other necessary tasks in our office
