The Patient & Community Outreach Manager is responsible for implementing strategies to achieve Blood Cancer United's goals. This includes conducting outreach to raise awareness and connect patients, especially from Black/African American and Hispanic/Latino communities, with Blood Cancer United soon after diagnosis. The role involves building community trust, providing ongoing support and education, facilitating access to quality care for patients and caregivers, and developing local and regional collaborations with healthcare professionals and community leaders. The Manager will coordinate information, services, community education, and outreach to patients, caregivers, survivors, and healthcare professionals in their assigned coverage areas, serving as a key mission leader for the Blood Cancer United Region.
