This posting is for High School Students in a CTE program, specifically for those attending an Application Session with an IU Health representative. The position is available across all West Region locations, including Arnett, Frankfort, Tipton, and White Memorial Hospitals. The Patient Care Assistant (PCA) operates under the guidance of a registered nurse (RN) as a non-licensed team member, providing direct patient care and supporting the overall patient care team. Key duties involve assisting with activities of daily living, providing mobility assistance, conducting continuous observation (including for suicide prevention), and maintaining a clean and orderly patient environment.
