About The Position

The work you do as a PCT is critical to the needs of our patients! As a Patient Care Technician, you will be working collaboratively with the Nurses within the 1 S - Telemetry & Stroke unit. Your care and treatment of these patients is an integral part of the Patient Experience. You would be caring for a patient population by assisting with their daily living activities, taking vital signs, glucose/Accu-Cheks, Phlebotomy, EKG’s, and other nursing assistant responsibilities. Position: Patient Care Technician PCT - 1S - Telemetry / Stroke Shift: 7pm - 7:30am - Minimum requirement is 2 - 12hr shifts per month, with an every 3rd weekend rotation. Additional Shifts can be picked up if desired

Requirements

  • Graduation from high school required.
  • Provider BLS (American Heart Assoc/American Red Cross) preferred on hire / required prior to completion of unit orientation.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in delivery of patient services preferred.
  • Phlebotomy experience preferred.
  • Some college preferred.
