This full-time Patient Care Technician (PCT) position is for the H7 Medical Oncology Unit, which features 30 private rooms and provides advanced therapies to a diverse range of medical oncology and family medicine patients. The PCT is a trained member of the unit-based team, performing patient care tasks and duties that do not require a license, professional judgment, or intervention. Working under the direct supervision of Registered Nurses, the PCT supports the ongoing delivery of care as identified by the multidisciplinary patient management team. This role offers learning opportunities in medical-surgical nursing and involves working within the Department of Nursing standards, adhering to UAMS clinical programs, policies, procedures, and guest care guidelines. A strong interdisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, pharmacists, nutritionists, and social workers, supports patient therapies in this environment.
