The Patient Care Technician (CNA) provides direct and indirect care to patients under the direction of a Registered Nurse or a Licensed Practical Nurse. This role involves basic patient care, obtaining vital signs, recording fluid intake and output, recognizing and reporting changes in patient condition, and documenting patient care on written flow sheets and computers. The position requires a positive attitude, good communication skills, and the ability to perform as an effective Team Member.
