Position Highlights Spencer Hospital is a rural hospital located in northwest Iowa employing over 500+ employees. Employment offers, if accepted, are exclusively with Spencer Hospital. This position is located in the Abben Cancer Center a department of Spencer Hospital. Responsibilities: Assists patients in getting ready/changing for their radiation treatments Provides assistance to Radiation Therapist and CT Sim Techs with treatment procedures Helps with patient flow in/out of vault for treatments Cleans patient care areas and prepares rooms before and after patients Maintains a clean, organized, and therapeutic patient environment at all times Answers Radiation Oncology phone and directs calls as appropriate Schedules Radiation Oncology follow ups Imports, prepares and maintains medical record for patients Maintains patient confidentiality, including protection of the medical record, order communication data and all other verbal and written patient information Assists with the transfer process of patients within the hospital and to external facilities Participates in departmental cleaning activities as assigned Follows appropriate cleaning standards including sanitation standards Provides for appropriate transporting and re-stocking of supplies and other items related to department and patient care needs Requirements: Medical certification required: CNA, CMA or an alike health professional certification Minimum 2 years healthcare experience BLS required or willing to obtain upon hire - Inhouse education available Must be a caring communicator, flexible, able to multitask and be comfortable with technological systems Schedule: 64 or 72 hr per pay period Mon-Fri; 8a-4:30p The schedule may fluctuate based upon the needs of the department Spencer Hospital offers competitive wages, affordable insurance, IPERS retirement, in-house education, paid time off, family gym membership and so much more! Requirements

Medical certification required: CNA, CMA or an alike health professional certification
Minimum 2 years healthcare experience
BLS required or willing to obtain upon hire - Inhouse education available
Must be a caring communicator, flexible, able to multitask and be comfortable with technological systems
