About The Position

SMG Family Medicine Old Hampton in Hampton, VA is seeking a full-time Patient Care Representative for a Monday through Friday day shift, with no weekends or major holidays. This role is responsible for the registration process of new and current patients, completing check-in and check-out functions, including co-pay collection, appointment scheduling, and medical record requests. The representative will also answer telephone calls and greet patients and visitors. Professional communication with insurance carriers and discharge planners is essential. The ideal candidate must be enthusiastic and energetic. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent

  • Must be enthusiastic and energetic

  • Responsible for registration process of new and current patients at the site
