About The Position

Performs basic patient care tasks as delegated by the RN and assists, under the direction of the RN, in the implementation of the established plan of care.
Compassionate in all interactions with patients, families, and peers. Provides a safe environment in patient rooms and on unit.
Follows established evidence-based prevention guidelines to promote positive patient outcomes.
Facilitates stocking and ordering of supplies for patient care.

Requirements

• High School Equivalent / GED
• BLS certification, issued by the American Heart Association, must be obtained during UH Orientation
