Your work ensures patients receive timely care, clear communication, and seamless coordination. This role is ideal for someone who is calm under pressure, highly organized, and deeply committed to patient-centered care.
Requirements
- CMA or LPN preferred
- Minimum 2 years of clinic experience (or similar healthcare setting)
- Strong communication and multitasking skills
- Ability to prioritize and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- A team-oriented mindset and positive attitude
Responsibilities
- Managing incoming calls and web messages from patients, provider offices, hospitals, and pharmacies
- Coordinating cancer treatment referrals (radiation, imaging, medical oncology)
- Scheduling routine and urgent provider visits
- Coordinating urgent add-ons and consultations with physicians and medical assistants
- Managing medication refills, e-scripts, and triage voicemails
- Processing telephone encounters and documentation
- Supporting patient service representatives and medical assistants as a resource
- Assisting with additional administrative duties as needed
