This position serves as a primary point of contact for patients, helping them understand recommended treatment, navigate insurance and financial options, and feel confident moving forward with care. The ideal candidate is organized, compassionate, detail-oriented, and comfortable communicating with patients, providers, and team members in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous dental experience required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and remain calm in a busy environment
  • Professional, positive, and patient-focused attitude

  • Experience with insurance verification, treatment coordination, or patient-facing roles a plus

Responsibilities

  • Welcome patients and provide a warm, professional experience from check-in to check-out
  • Communicate clearly and empathetically with patients regarding treatment plans and next steps
  • Answer phones, schedule appointments, and respond to patient inquiries in a timely manner
  • Help patients feel informed, supported, and comfortable throughout their care journey
  • Present treatment plans and review insurance benefits with patients
  • Explain financial options, payment plans, and policies
  • Collect payments and process transactions accurately
  • Coordinate follow-up appointments and continuing care
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in the practice management system
  • Verify insurance eligibility and benefits
  • Assist with daily schedule management to support efficiency and patient flow
  • Support front desk and administrative tasks as needed
