Position Overview: The Patient Care Coordinator is the first point of contact for patients and plays a vital role in ensuring a positive, organized, and efficient patient experience. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working within established processes, coordinating multiple moving parts, and being part of a collaborative, low-drama team environment. The perfect candidate has a positive attitude, strong listening skills, and a desire to learn and grow. You'll receive structured onboarding and training, so you don't need to have everything figured out on day one—but you do need to be coachable, detail-oriented, and ready to contribute to a high-functioning team.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for patients—both in person and over the phone
  • Greet patients warmly and ensure a welcoming, professional environment
  • Schedule, confirm, and manage appointments
  • Assist with patient questions and provide clear communication throughout their visit
  • Collect patient payments and manage daily transactions
  • Verify and enter patient insurance information
  • Assist with billing and insurance submissions as needed
  • Maintain accurate and organized patient records
  • Follow established protocols and procedures to ensure smooth daily operations
  • Prepare for upcoming appointments and support clinic flow
  • Coordinate multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail
  • Support the clinical team in delivering a seamless patient experience
