Key Responsibilities Patient Registration & Check-in: Greet patients, manage the arrival/check-out process, and verify identity. Insurance & Financial Verification: Verify insurance eligibility, explain benefits, and collect co-pays/deductibles. Data Accuracy: Input patient demographics, medical orders, and insurance details into Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems. Scheduling: Book, cancel, and reschedule patient appointments. Communication & Support: Answer high-volume phone calls, answer questions regarding billing, and handle patient inquiries. Compliance: Maintain patient confidentiality, including compliance with HIPAA guidelines.
