About The Position

Results Physiotherapy, a brand partner of Upstream Rehabilitation, is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator for their Alamo Heights, TX location. This entry-level office role is crucial for maintaining pleasant and consistent daily clinic operations. The Patient Care Coordinator is expected to have excellent customer service skills and be adept at multitasking across multiple computer programs. The role supports clinic growth through excellence in practice management and patient intake processes, working collaboratively with the Clinic Director to ensure efficient clinic procedures and uphold the mission, vision, and values of Upstream Rehabilitation.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Communication skills – must be able to relate well to Business Office and Field leadership.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Organizational detail.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Work with little to no supervision.
  • As a member of a team, must possess efficient time management and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Greets everyone who enters the clinic in a friendly and welcoming manner.
  • Schedules new referrals received by fax or by telephone from patients, physician offices.
  • Verifies insurance coverage for patients.
  • Collects patient payments.
  • Maintains an orderly and organized front office workspace.
  • Collect all money due at the time of service.
  • Convert referrals into evaluations.
  • Schedule patient visits.
  • Create an inviting clinic atmosphere.
  • Make all welcome calls.
  • Monitor and influence arrival rate through creation of a great customer experience.
  • Manage schedule efficiently.
  • Manage document routing.
  • Manage personal overtime.
  • Manage non-clinical documentation.
  • Manage deposits.
  • Manage caseload, D/C candidate, progress note, and insurance reporting.
  • Monitor clinic inventory.
  • Attend any required training with the Territory Field Trainers (TFT) for Raintree and other business process updates.
  • Complete quarterly compliance training.
  • Other duties as assigned.
