Patient Care Coordinator - Castle Pines Family Practice

As a Patient Care Coordinator, you are often the first point of contact for our patients—setting the tone for a welcoming, smooth visit.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Strong computer skills
- Ability to actively listen, communicate clearly, and provide empathetic service
- Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable multitasking
Nice To Haves
- Customer service experience
- 1–2 years of experience in a business office or clinical/medical setting
- EMR experience (Athenahealth practice management system preferred)
- Current BLS card
- Some college (medical, business, or accounting focus)
Responsibilities
- Greet patients in person and by phone in a friendly, professional manner
- Register new patients and verify/update demographics for existing patients
- Complete pre-visit planning, including: Collecting updated insurance information Performing insurance verification Updating patient records accurately
- Collect copays and payments as needed
- Answer inbound calls to schedule appointments and route questions appropriately
- Serve as a liaison between patients and clinical staff
- Make outbound calls to schedule appointments and support clinic needs
- Maintain a clean, organized front office and complete daily administrative tasks
- Maintain confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines
- Meet or exceed established service standards
- Work well independently and collaboratively as part of the clinic team
- Maintain punctual, reliable attendance (essential for this role)
