This position involves acquiring job skills, policies, and procedures to complete substantive assignments and tasks of moderate scope and complexity, exercising judgment within defined guidelines and practices to determine appropriate action. The role performs work in assigned area(s) to develop expertise needed to be fully functional in a specialty area/clinic. Key proficiencies include rooming, check-in/out, vaccine administration, medication administration, POC testing, specimen collection, procedure assist, prescription refills, and CRM/In-Basket Management. Additional duties encompass specific protocols, disability paperwork, improvement work, EverReady Checklist, schedule sweeps, temp logs, audits, preceptor, and super user functions. Employees are required to abide by all Joint Commission requirements, including sensitivity to cultural diversity, patient care, patient rights, ethical treatment, safety, emergency management, teamwork, respect, ongoing education, communication, adherence to safety and quality programs, sustaining compliance with National Patient Safety Goals, and licensure and health screenings. The role encompasses patient care, scheduling, customer service, and clerical duties.
