Requirements

  • Applicants should have a High School Diploma (or equivalent)
  • Current BLS certification required within 30 days of hire
  • Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action

Nice To Haves

  • Nursing Assistant Certificate preferred
  • PCA/DCA Experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), ensuring comfort, safety, and quality outcomes
  • Accurately document patient information and care activities in the medical record
  • Maintain and organize equipment and supplies, contributing to a safe and efficient care environment
  • Support quality assurance initiatives by adhering to established standards and protocols
  • Communicate effectively with team members across departments to ensure coordinated patient care
  • Assist with staff education efforts and actively pursue ongoing professional development
  • Apply knowledge of age-specific needs to deliver appropriate, patient-centered care in alignment with policies and procedures
