About The Position

St. Elizabeth Healthcare is hiring a Patient Care Assistant (PCA) for their TCU 6C Neuroscience Telemetry Unit located within the Edgewood Hospital. This is a full-time position, scheduled for 36 hours per week, working 7P-7A shifts. Requirements

High school Diploma / GED
Ability to perform such tasks as vital signs
Demonstrates knowledge of body mechanics
General computer skills and applications
Customer service experience

Responsibilities

Coordinating and maintaining the clerical functions and duties of a designated unit/program
Utilizing Customer Service skills when greeting patient/visitors and answering telephone
Demonstrating the ability to complete worklist tasks triggered by physician orders or nurse-generated tasks under the direct supervision of licensed nursing personnel
Providing direct and indirect patient care activities under the direction of a RN or LPN
Assisting patients with activities of daily living
Providing for personal care, comfort
Assisting in the maintenance of a safe and clean environment for an assigned group of patients
