Your Mission (Should You Choose to Accept It): As a Patient Care Advocate, you'll be the heartbeat of our patient experience. Your voice will offer comfort, your actions will bring clarity, and your dedication will make a difference. Location: This is an In-Office role at our office in San Antonio, TX . Compensation: Compensation is determined based on the following criteria: Low Range: Entry-level experience with foundational skills. Mid Range: Solid experience with demonstrated proficiency in key responsibilities. High Range: Extensive experience with a proven track record of success in similar roles. Pay will be evaluated based on experience, skills, and qualifications during the hiring process.
Requirements
- 1+ years of solid experience in medical collections is required.
- Solid understanding of CPT codes, ICD-10, and healthcare regulations.
- Thorough knowledge of HIPAA privacy regulations.
- Lightning-fast, accurate data entry skills.
- Emotional intelligence with a compassionate, tactful communication style.
Responsibilities
- Reviewing weekly clinical reports to identify and manage cases with adverse outcomes.
- Making daily phone calls to patients who received IOM services, using a provided script to ask thoughtful, engaging questions.
- Documenting patient feedback with precision and care.
- Communicating with patients, insurance providers, and attorneys to resolve inquiries and ensure satisfaction.
