About The Position

Patient Authorization and Referral Representative at Providence St. Lukes Rehabilitation Inst, Spokane WA Under the general direction of the Supervisor or Manager, the Authorizations Representative - caregivers' primary duties revolve around authorizations, but may also perform a variety of tasks related to patient scheduling, pre-registration, and authorization/verification of benefits in a fast paced, ever changing environment. The Authorization Representative cultivates working relationships between Therapists, Practitioners, and Patients. Providence caregivers are not simply valued – they’re invaluable. Requirements

• H.S. Diploma or GED
• 1 year billing or insurance company experience.
• 1 year experience with authorizations.

Nice To Haves

• Associate's Degree in Medical Coding and billing
• 1 year experience with patient scheduling.
• EMR knowledge.
