About The Position

Fairview is looking for a Casual Patient Attendant to join our team at our Fairview Northland Hospital in Princeton, MN. This position picks up shifts as needed to help support our amazing nursing staff. Must be able to report to the hospital within 30 minutes of being called in.

Requirements

• Must be able to report to the hospital within 30 minutes of being called in

Responsibilities

• Ensure patient safety through close and constant observation of the patient
• Observes for real and potential threats to the patient’s safety and initiates appropriate action to prevent patient harm
• Reports observations directly to the patient’s assigned nurse or to the unit’s charge nurse
• Documents observations in the designated appropriate manner
• Other duties as assigned which do not require clinical competency (i.e stocking rooms, answering call lights)
