About The Position
We are hiring immediately for full time PATIENT AMBASSADOR positions. Location : Cleveland Clinic Main Campus - 9500 Euclid Avenue, Cleveland, OH 44195. Note: online applications accepted only. Schedule : Full-time schedules; flexible. Monday through Friday, including alternating weekends, hours may vary; more details upon interview. Requirements
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time
- Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English
- Basic computer skills
Nice To Haves
- Previous healthcare experience and customer service experience are preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Conducts new admission and service recovery visits to all assigned units within timeframe established by unit leadership and patient experience leadership.
- Relays relevant concerns from nurses/clinical employees, patients to supervisors.
- Demonstrates a complete understanding of daily menu items and accurately explains them to customers.
- Serves as an advocate to the patient by establishing good communication and assisting in the menu selection process.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
