You Are: Ready to live out our core values in patient and team member interactions Detail-oriented An exceptional communicator Highly motivated and a self-starter An effective problem solver You Will Make an Impact By: Verifying insurance coverage prior to patient arrival for evaluation and determining if the clinic or surgery center are in or out of network for patients. Communicating with patients when necessary on network status. Completing insurance verification forms with correct benefit information, including deductible, co-pay and/or coinsurance. Preparing surgery schedules and scheduling post-operative appointments for patients. Providing estimates to patients on financial responsibility. Creating daily reports of evaluations to verify insurance is within network and obtaining referrals and prior authorizations from policies that require it. Answering patient phone calls promptly and addressing patient concerns. Obtaining proper insurance information and providing fee schedules and insurance information to patients. Preparing, maintaining, retrieving, and distributing medical records as needed. Ensuring all preoperative testing and documentation is completed prior to procedure. Processing Mission Vision and patient assistant program applications for patients.
